Winter nets have now started at Prior Park in preparation for the 2009 season! Every Sunday from now until Easter (Except 1st March).  Seniors & U-15's 3-4pm, U-13's 4-5pm & U-11's 5-6pm.  Sessions cost £2.  Anybody and everybody welcome!

6th February - Cricklade CC AGM - To be held in the Buffs room starting at 8pm prompt.  WAGS and followers schedule to visit curry house after!

CRICKET CLUB BBQ...We have organised a BBQ at the Red Lion for the cricket club members and partners.  This will take place on Saturday 4th August after Cricket.  Be there or be square! For more details please contact Ken Lawson.

Cricklade cricket club would like to thank everybody who joined us for our annual Six-a-side.  With a fortunate change in the weather the competition was able to go ahead on Sunday as planned. With 20 sides competing for the title and the new Rodney Martin memorial trophy the final was a close battle between Coopers Crew and the VWH All Stars with the VWH sneaking home by 1 run to claim victory.  Thank you to all those who participated, supported and helped out on the day, the money raised will be put towards the repair of our outfield Mower.  If you have any comments about the day or would like to sponsor the event next year please get in touch.

Night at the Dogs! We have arranged an evening at Swindon Greyhound racing track (Blunsdon) on Friday 7th September.  We have been allocated 150 tickets so please support the club with this event.  For more details click here

The annual 6-a-side is being held on Sunday 8th July.  Entrance forms with rules are available from the Red Lion, only 20 sides can enter so make sure you return your completed form with the money ASAP.  Entrance details can be obtained by clicking here.

Thank you to all those who took part and helped out with our Race Night on 24th March, thanks to everybody's support we managed to raise £1200.  The money raised is going to be used to purchase some much needed tables and benches for our tea room.  Our next event is planned for later in the summer so please look out for the published date.

Season Opener! Race Night, 24th March.  Back by popular demand our first charity event of the season is being held at Cricklade Town Hall on Saturday 24th March.  Doors open at 7.30pm, tickets available from the Red Lion - £8 including Fish & Chip Supper & Race Card.

Pre-Season Nets have now started! These are being held every Sunday at Prior Park school from the 4th Feb through to the 8th April.  Senior Sessions are 3-5pm, U-15's 3-4pm & Juniors U-13's, U-11's & U-9's at 4-5pm.
